Editorial design for NCA Community Response to Trafficking In Persons toolkit

I was commissioned by Norwegian Church Aid to develop the layout design for the TIP Tools. Comprised of two main documents, the Community Conversation Module and the Staff Participatory Training Manual and one supporting print out booklet.

Both of the main documents were developed to support a 5-day training course. The selected design follows in line with NCA’s visual guidelines while using a very is simple and easy to navigate structure in order to facilitator deliver the training course.

Community Conversation Guide Module

The Community Conversation Guide Module’s aim is to provide NCA staff with appropriate Trafficking in Persons-related information and guidance on how to engage with community members to undertake TIP-prevention and TIP-mitigation actions. A clear and easy to follow design system was created in order to give emphasis to the content while keeping the book easy to navigate.

Staff Participatory Training Manual

The aim of the Staff Participatory Training Manual is to guide NCA on how to facilitate training for staff at country level, to engage with the community to undertake TIP-prevention and TIP- mitigation actions within their thematic programmes.

TIP Tools Workbook

As part of the project, I also developed separate printout document containing annexes and other relevant materials and resources for the course. The goal of this hand out booklet is to be a supporting document that allows the participants to have easy access to said resources.
